Maureen is amazing. She was so helpful with all aspects of our house sale. She helped us find handymen, accountant, prospective apartments, etc. she found a buyer within a few weeks which really put us at ease. She kept us informed throughout the whole process right up to the closing. I've already recommended her to 2 friends, one who may be looking to buy and one looking to sell. It's great to see someone who is great at their job, and really cares about their clients. My brothers family and I feel really lucky that we had Maureen as our agent.

Maureen gave me advice with two properties that my Mom owned. Upon my Mom’s passing Maureen made herself available to me for “friendly assistance ” while remaining uncompensated for the sale of the same properties. I assured Maureen that when I was ready to sell my own house in Long Beach, NY, she would unquestionably be my listing agent. It was a decision that I couldn’t have been happier with. I had the genuine pleasure of working with Maureen Doherty on my recent coop purchase! Omg i loved her for so many reasons! To start off she was soooo nice, cool and easy to work with. She was NOT pushy and did not make me feel under pressure to purchase something i wasn’t in love with! She made me feel so comfortable in reassuring me that the right thing is out there and we will find it. She was readily available whenever i called or texted her and was always willing to take the time to speak with me and take me on showings. When we finally found the place I had been looking for, she spend countless hours meeting me at the apt to let contractors and others in to see it. She was so down to earth, calm and the perfect fit for me. She worked so hard on all aspects of my purchase and was such a pleasure to work with! From the moment we met Maureen we knew we wanted her to handle the sale of my mother’s house. Dealing with my mothers passing and the selling of our home of 62 years we had specific parameters we insisted on for any buyer. The house holds many memories and we didn’t want to selll to someone who would tear it down to build a monstrosity of a home in its place. My 8 siblings wanted a local family to buy the home. Maureen found us the perfect family. The buyers Maureen found fit our expectations to a “t”. The buyers are small family of 3 who not only grew up in Long Beach but they grew up in the Walks neighborhood so they knew the charm of the neighborhood. The buyer isn’t going to tear down the home which was our main concern. In then end Maureen found us the perfect buyer that checked all of our boxes. Maureen was a pleasure to work with; honest, kind, not pushy at all, she was available for every call or text and she made a very emotional process very easy. One of the other things we needed was a closing date far enough away so that we could find a new apartment for my disabled brother. Maureen got us that and more. We had time to clean out the house over months instead of Ay’s or weeks and most of all we were still were to enjoy our family home before we closed. Maureen is a true Long Beach gem and we will definitely use her again if needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better realtor to get us through the process. She has our highest personal and profession recommendation.

I had met Maureen Doherty probably about 6 month before my aunt (the owner of the home that was sold) had passed away. I just liked her in general, as a person. She was very down to earth and was always willing to help out in any way needed! This was very important to me, as I live upstate. She gave me contacts for last minute lawn care and a handyman, all things I needed since not being from the area. I would definitely recommend her.
